Summer Isn’t Going Away Anytime Quick in South Carolina

By in Landscaping

Summer is in full swing here in Greenville and with the upcoming rain, now is a perfect time to make sure your lawn is in good health. With many Greenville lawns starting to struggle with the heat, there are a number of things you can do to make sure your landscaping doesn’t start to die out with the heat.

While this can sometimes become a costly venture, when considering rental and supply fees, you may want to think about hiring a professional to spruce your lawn up for you.

There are a few things that you want to make sure are done to help maintain your lawn during the hot Summer months:

  • Soil Test– A very important step that will allow you to asess any problems and begin to figure out the best course of action to correct problems
  • Herbicide– Using a herbicide will help to control weed activity before any other action is taken on the lawn.
  • Laying Seed– You’re going to want to lay seed in any dead patches– be sure to get the correct kind of seed to match your lawn.
  • Growth Regulators– This will help, if you are laying new seed, to slow the growth of existing grass, so that it will not compete with any new grass.
  • Fertilizer and Root Stimulant– This will help, especially with the coming rain, to ensure proper and healthy growth of your lawn (and and other Greenville Landscaping).

While it can be incredibly hot outside, its no time to quit on your lawn! Let us at Landscaper Greenville help you keep that beautiful lawn you’ve been working so hard on! Click Here to contact us for a free consultation.
